MO RADIO FOUNDATION

Mo radio is a not-for-profit independent internet radio station based in Uganda, Africa. We aim to connect, inspire and empower through conversation, educate, collaboration and community.

The Moradio Foundation, a Ugandan social enterprise, focuses on equipping young people with innovative solutions to boost their employability. Through skills development, mentorship, apprenticeships, career guidance, and providing startup capital support, it aims to bridge the gap in the workforce and empower youth.

Offering a platform and nurturing connections

Mo Radio is a platform dedicated to showcasing local musicians, DJs, thinkers, moderators, and content creators, offering an independent space for self-expression through sound. Beyond that, it serves as a hub for generated content. The station aims to build connections with visiting artists and community initiatives in Kampala, Uganda, and beyond, facilitating idea exchange, workshops, collaborative programming, student training, internships, and more. These partnerships enhance the bond between Uganda and the wider world, potentially extending the radio’s influence.
